The house

Well, the house is coming along. Finally!! My husband, dad, FIL and brother have been working like dogs to get it done before July. 1 Month ahead of schedule!!! Let's keep our fingers crossed, it's been more than stressful for my husband and I. Now I have done none of the work, but having all of these people here has been like living in a fish bowl and I DO NOT like that at all!! I feel like a slob, my house can not stay clean, my laundry can not get washed, and I have to be the gofer girl for everything from food, to equipment. I don't play that roll well. I know, shocking!!

My kind of drug!!

oh my gosh I am in sooo much trouble. There's a new scrap store in town and I went to pay a visit and ooooooo my, everything in there is a must have!!! It's called Craft Fancy, and take it from this scrap-aholic it is truly going to be me my form of alcohol or drugs. Not only is it close by, but it conveniently located next to a Starbucks! Shit!!!!

It's party time!

So we went to a party today for the Jack and Nate and the kids had a blast! As part of the goody bag Jen(their mom) put in a cd of the boys' favorite songs, which included the Star Wars theme song, Batman, and Superman! Let's just say my man went nuts and we listened to it the entire ride home. SO funny since he doesn't like anything, except for Bon Jovi! So much fun, Thanks Jen!!

Here is a card I made for my mom's friend Kristen! I hand embossed all the scrolling, a pain in the hand, but well worth it!! I especially love the giant Heidi Swapp flower cut into fourths, and put together in the corner. SOO hot! (if I do say so myself).

Welcome to animal house, or is it just me?

Summer has officially started and thankfully so has summer school. However, I am teaching at my daughters school on Tues. and Thurs. so a break is not in the cards. :( I do get Wednesdays though!!! THANK GOD!!!
Anyway, I had a very trying first day. I had 2 stubborn friends, one of which was a "runner", meaning she liked to leave the room get her backpack and try to leave the building. Thank god for the office staff sitting by the door, she didn't make it very far. Oh but she did try...twice. The second time by opening the door and sneaking out. By then we were on to her and caught her almost instantly! I wanted to put a leash on her, but we all know that's not o.k.
The second friend, well she was my sweet daughter. She knows full well that she gets away with waaayyy more than she gets away with at home. So, it made for a very interesting morning!

On top of that I have construction going on, and it affects every room in the house! The windows, siding and roof are worth it, but the process sucks!! I a literally walking over insulation windows, wood and nails.

To top it all my brother is helping and his son (18mths) is here, and he is "watching" my other niece(10) and nephew(12) so they are here too! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
Seriously, I feel crazy today and I was wondering how much of it is me, or environment?
